Loyalty that works whether or not the guest downloads the app.
Use one phone-number-based customer identity across Crisp ordering channels, reward repeat visits, recognize regular guests, and make earning and redemption part of the normal order flow.

Use loyalty to improve the visit, not just attribute the sale.
- Guest identification is the first step in the Crisp POS order flow
- Employees can enter the guest's phone number
- Guests can enter it themselves through a customer-facing display
- Guests may instead scan the authenticated mobile app
- Once identified, we can surface recent orders, named favorites, rewards, coupons, and useful customer context
- The phone number represents the shared profile across Crisp channels

Three rewards models, and they do not behave the same way.
Choosing between them is a real decision about how guests earn, what they see, and how redemption feels at the counter.
Credit back
- 01Guest spends $10
- 02Program awards 5% back
- 03Guest receives $0.50 in loyalty credit
- 04Credit is later used like stored value toward a purchase
Points to credit
- 01Guest earns points
- 02A configured number of points converts into loyalty credit
- 03That credit is applied to a future purchase
Points to coupon
- 01Guest earns points
- 02The app may present a selection of available coupon rewards
- 03The guest exchanges points for a coupon
- 04The coupon is saved to the profile and redeemed later
Guests can participate and redeem at the POS using their phone number even when they never download the branded app.
What the program does once the guest is known.
One rewards configuration behind every Crisp ordering channel.
The program does not need a separate setup for the register, the web, the app, and the kiosk. It is one configuration applied wherever the order is taken.
- The same rewards configuration supports Crisp POS, web ordering, mobile app, and kiosk
- App orders connect automatically to the signed-in guest
- Web guests can sign in or be encouraged to join near checkout
- In-store guests can participate using their phone number
- Available loyalty credit and coupons can be applied where eligible
Earn and redeem across channels

Recent orders and favorites
Rebuild the usual order without rebuilding every modifier.
For beverage and customization-heavy concepts, recognizing the guest saves real time at the register — not because of prediction, but because the configuration is already stored.
- We can show recent products to the cashier after guest identification
- App users can save fully customized products as named favorites
- Named favorites can appear to employees at the POS
- Especially useful for heavily customized beverage products
Gift cards and stored value
Balances that belong to the guest, not to a device.
Gift cards and loyalty credit sit on the same profile the register identifies, so a balance earned in one channel is usable in another.
- We provide physical and digital gift-card capabilities
- Gift cards can connect to the same customer profile
- Guests can hold multiple balances
- Loyalty credit, gift cards, coupons, and card payment can be combined in one transaction where supported
- Account-specific reloadable stored value and auto-reload are available through the mobile app
Customer context
Useful context about the guest in front of the team.
Tags travel with the profile, so relationships you care about are visible at the moment of service rather than buried in a marketing tool.
- Customer tags may be applied manually or through segmentation
- Tags can appear to employees after guest identification
- Examples include founding members, investors, community partners, or VIP relationships
- The same guest profile supports campaign targeting and service recovery
The same customer attributes can be used to build behavioral audiences. See marketing and campaigns.
Bring the customer relationship with you.
Replacing a POS should not mean resetting your loyalty program and asking regulars to start over.
- Customer profiles
- Phone numbers and available customer information
- Existing rewards balances
- Loyalty status
- Gift-card balances
- Available SMS consent records
Detailed historical orders, item-level transaction history, and full prior-POS product history are not normally imported. When you change reward structures, we work with you to define a reasonable balance conversion.
Existing gift cards
- Old cards can continue to be redeemed
- When an old card retains a balance, the cashier may transfer it to a new Crisp card
- If the transfer is declined, the old card continues working with its updated Crisp-managed balance
